There are tons of steakhouses in DC and they are all very good. We chose the Palm because it represents the real Washington, DC. One of the unique characters in the restaurant business is a gentleman by the name of Tommy Jacomo who works the front of the house and has become a notable fixture the Palm on 19th Street (there is a second location in McLean). Tommy has been with the Palm for some thirty-nine years, and he is the man. The Palm has great steaks and great seafood, and an amazing guest list of very important people. It's a most interesting experience, and it's something a bit different than all the others. The Palm is the Palm!
