Executive chef and owner Gerard Cabrol opened his now classic restaurant in 1975 in beautiful, downtown Georgetown. You have to find a place in your heart for a spot that actually stays open until 3AM on weekdays and until 4AM on the weekends. With the assumption that there is a segment of the dining public that enjoys their meal at such unusual hours, one would say that Bistro Français is a tad unique (and delightful at the same time). We also know that members of the restaurant industry frequent this place and take advantage of the late hours, so it has to be very good. The good chef brought his home recipes from France, and so far, he has enjoyed a phenomenal 36-year run.
