There is a reason that Washington is such a great restaurant destination. Not surprisingly, it's because there are so many talented chefs. One of the truly great ones has to be Chef José Andrés. The James Beard Award-Winning Executive Chef is from Spain, and his restaurants are outstanding ( Jaleo, Zaytinya, Oyamel, and our favorite, Café Atlántico). His "Nuevo Latino" cuisine is awesome, and there is no question that the folks come for those incredible mojitos along with a selection of handmade classic Latin American & Caribbean cocktails. Of course, the big draw has to be the food and José figured that one out a long time ago.
