There are tons of steakhouses, but they are not all the same. Some are decidedly better and there is no such thing as the absolute best steakhouse. One thing is for certain, the Prime Rib is outstanding and it does make a difference when a Victor Ossorio is in the kitchen, and Garth Weldon, one of the area's most likeable and respected owners, is working the front of the house. They have nicknamed the Prime Rib the "Civilized Steakhouse" and the scene here is absolutely civilized (as well as swanky) with a 1940's Manhattan supper club look.
