Chef Marcie Turney and partner, Valerie Safran, turned a depressing 13th Street into a Philadelphia dining destination. Their relatively new Mediterranean kitchen and bar called Barbuzzo has been an instantaneous winner along with their other restaurants on the same street. Who could have predicted all of this? Talent and vision win out.
